i'm entrenched in numerous "new new new left" groups(sds,underground action alliance,cpa-they're not too new though). i'm trying to get a recycling program and an amnesty international chapter started at my high school, both of which are being met with surprisingly little resistance. i play bass guitar in a really bad primus cover band. my musical proclivities are more suited to acoustic folk/rock, but i'm working with what i've got right now. i'm a member of a co-op in michigan called circle pines center, which is one of the last refuges of natural beauty and hippidom left in the united states.i abhor power systems, particularly those governed by economics. i find apathy and ignorqance repugnant, but i do my best to civily defeat both in my community. so yeah, i guess you could lump me in with the ostentacious intellectual hippie crowd, but that would make me very sad, because self-centered
bitch-about-thegovernment-and-capitalist-society types who just bitch and don't DO anything really suck the jam out of my vegan pseudo-jelly-doughnut. but whatever, if it makes you happy to coplain and expect change, then more power to you, just stay bout of my way. i know i can't change the world on my own, but i've never been good at listening to my inner voice(s), so world beware.
